1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CareerCraftAI ("the Service") at careercraftai.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Description of Service

CareerCraftAI provides AI-powered tools to help users create CVs, write cover letters, and improve existing CVs. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by job seekers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Free Tier and Subscriptions

Free users receive 3 document generations. Additional generations may be available by watching an advertisement (subject to an 18-hour cooldown). For unlimited access, users may subscribe to CareerCraftAI Pro.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by UK consumer law. Subscriptions are managed through Stripe.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The CVs, cover letters, and other documents generated by our AI are provided as a starting point and writing aid. CareerCraftAI does not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific job application. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before submitting it to employers. We accept no liability for any outcome resulting from the use of AI-generated documents.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means or multiple accounts
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit AI-generated content without permission
• Upload or input content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The CareerCraftAI platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by CareerCraftAI. Documents generated using your own input data are yours to use. We retain no ownership over the content of your generated CVs or cover letters.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareerCraftAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
